1. Scope & Definitions

This Payment & Refund Policy (“Policy”) explains how SMSPROF (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles payments, refunds, and balance credits when you purchase temporary virtual number service through smsprof.com (the “Website”).

Refund eligibility is governed by the rules below and the order/ activation data recorded by our systems. Refunds/credits are provided only where eligibility conditions are met.

2. Payment Methods

Payments may be processed using cryptocurrency and card payments (and/or other methods shown on the Website where available).

Payment processing is performed by third-party payment providers. Where provider rules apply, refunds/credits may depend on those provider processes and timelines.

3. Payment Finality (Crypto)

Cryptocurrency payments are blockchain transactions. Due to the irreversible nature of blockchain transfers, crypto top-ups are generally final and are not reversible to the original wallet.

Where a refund is approved under this Policy, it is issued as an account balance credit (a service credit inside SMSPROF), unless applicable law requires a different approach.

4. Refund Destination: Balance Credit

If you are eligible for a refund under this Policy, the refund may be issued as an account balance credit.

Balance credits have no cash value outside the SMSPROF ecosystem and can be used only according to the Service rules.

5. Automatic Balance Refund (Missing SMS / OTP)

If you purchase a temporary virtual number and the activation is eligible, but you do not receive the SMS/OTP under the qualifying delivery conditions, we may automatically return the paid amount to your account balance.

This automatic balance refund applies only when we determine that:

  • the activation was successful/eligible in our system,
  • the expected SMS/OTP was not delivered within the eligible conditions,
  • no prohibited or abusive activity was detected,
  • the failure was not caused by external factors that make delivery ineligible under this Policy.

6. Activation Failures

If a number fails to activate or is marked as a failed/eligible activation under our recorded activation statuses, we may issue abalance credit according to this Policy.

Eligibility depends on the activation outcome tracked by our system. Some failures may be outside our control (for example, third-party platform restrictions).

7. Ineligible / Non-Refundable Cases

We may deny refunds or balance credits when:

  • the third-party website/app rejects the verification attempt due to its own policies or risk systems,
  • the SMS was delivered but you did not receive it due to user-side factors (device/network settings, spam filtering, connectivity),
  • your use violates Terms of Use or involves prohibited activity,
  • the activation was not eligible under system/risk checks,
  • the SMS/OTP did not match eligible delivery criteria recorded for that activation.

8. Card Payments, Chargebacks, and Disputes

If you paid by card, refunds/credits (when eligible) are handled as balance credits under this Policy. Card chargebacks are a separate process managed by your payment provider and may affect eligibility for future purchases.

Where appropriate, we may suspend access if we reasonably believe a chargeback/dispute involves prohibited or abusive activity.

9. Processing Time

Automatic refunds/balance credits are processed within a reasonable timeframe after activation and eligibility checks are completed.

The exact timing may depend on payment confirmation status and the activation/delivery records for your order.

10. Refund Requests & Evidence

If you believe you are eligible for a refund/balance credit and it was not issued automatically, contact support with:

  • order/activation identifiers,
  • country/service used,
  • approximate time of activation,
  • any relevant screenshots or details (if available).

We will review your request based on available system logs and eligibility conditions.
